Work Experience

I am on a second year of studying Travel & Tourism at college. In November I have to complete two weeks work experience. I would love to do it within an airline or airport, as last year I completed at American Airlines at Heathrow. Is there anyone that lives near Heathrow that could give me ideas of where I might be able to get work experience even if it is not at the airport or for an airline. I would want to do something that is to do with Travel & Tourism, but I dont want anything boring like a travel agency, as there isnt much that I would be able to do.

look at heathrows website, think of where you'd like to work after college and try to do work experience which will allow you to make contacts and possibly get a foot in the door
