Hi,
I have asked this question in law and had a few answers, but could do with somebody who might know more.
I need to know the law regarding chicken keeping.
More specificly, my neighbours in North Yorkshire have, all of a sudden, put their chicken shed directly outside my kitchen window. They are just 2 metres away from our house. Can anybody help...
By the way, they had the chickens for 2 years and they did not bother us as they kept them far away from the house. They also have a rooster now which starts off at 5 am which wakes us up.

have you tried environmental health/local council?

I do not believe there are any laws specifically about keeping poultry.

You would have to approach this using environmental health and/or public nuisance laws.

However, wouldn't it be far simpler to ask next door to move it again?
