Back in July about the 9th i cut the end of the thumb opening a can. Yes, you guessed it, a tin of corned beef.
Had it stiched at a walk in center and thought it would start healing up. Here we are two months later and it is still troubling me, like very sore and sensitve.
went back to the walk in center and they said they could'nt do any more. Any good tips to heal the tip?
Now my missus opens the damm things.

it must have been quite deep, wrap it up and dont use it for as long as possible.hope it weren't Brazilian
Hmmm, it must have been very deep to have a stitch put in it redfan. OUCH ! Fingertips are obviously very sensitive and deep cuts through the thick flesh tip of a digit will take ages to heal fully, but is it open (not covered with a plaster?) - if it is covered, you need to get air at it - suggest leaving it uncovered and bath in warm salt water as often as needed - this will promote healing and stave off infection, should also take away the soreness, it does sound as though you have a slight infection considering the pain you are having with it after this time....keep bathing the wound and it should be ok.
RQ :)
Buy a jar of runny honey the best in the shop, put some on a bandage, wrap around thumb, sorted.
RQ has given good advice,if your up to date with your tetanus ,dont bath too much as this will keep the wound open.water can delay the healing process at times,

my past experience's
yum.love runny hunney
