I can understand people getting angry at Boris et al not letting us go to Europe, but I thought the EU had banned us anyway! So even if he said we could, we can’t!

Not all EU countries had banned UK citizens from visiting. Unfortunately the behaviour of some who recently travelled to Portugal left a lot to be desired. Portugal still wants UK citizens to come but to follow the restrictions and it would be appreciated if they were sober when they got off the plane!

the EU doesn't ban people, it just recommends it to member states but they don't have to implement it.

Some people dont seem to get that foreign travel is a two way thing.
Boris could put all nations on the green list and give his blessing on foreign travel, but others nations are quite free to impose travel restrictions.

The latest news from the Government is that nobody from the UK is allowed to visit any of the countries that didn't vote for us in the Eurovision Song Contest!
