Strange question but i have seen clothers on ebay. I have some red trousers that have mtaching red shirt. All very loud and not my thing, might i get any money for them on ebay, only worn once!

Also bought something on ebay once but never sold anything and it seems difficult to me!

A basic advert is easy enough - it guides you through what title you want, what category you want to advertise your product in, the option of adding a photograph and the text to accompany it. You link your Paypal account to the advert, and can specify what transations you'll accept (i.e. Paypal only, cheque, postal order etc.). It pretty much guides you through it all.

what is paypal? and i have heard about things going wrong with it. Can i give my bank details so the money can go there?

And finally if i am a new seller then i wont have much feedback....so will anyone trust me enough to buy from me?!

thanks
Paypal is a method of paying for your product - when you've brought something before, I assume you sent a cheque or postal order then? Paypal is the most popular as it's secure and doesn't require typing in card details, plus it's instant payment for the seller. I think they charge a nominal fee though for every transaction, but it's worth opening an account with them - as a seller or a buyer. I've used it to buy and sell things, and never had a problem with them. Think the address is www.paypal.com

Everybody starts with no feedback so don't worry too much about it. You could mention it in your advert that you're a first time seller if it worries you, but people won't mind as long as they want the item enough. Just make sure you do a good job, describe it as it is (including any stains, tears etc.), and post it to them promptly and you'll have your first good feedback as a seller.
Second hand clothes don't tend to get very much money - unless clothes are either brand new with tags attached or designer you probably won't get more than a couple of pounds for them
