They have their own type of plugs.I bought mine in Heathrow.Couldn't get them anywhere else.

they are similar to ours 240 volts bot have round pins .we bought ours in local supermarket in Capetown

Yes, you can buy an adaptor at heathrow airport or any travel shop should be able to advise you. I'm from SA, and we mainly use 2 and 3pointer plugs (similar to uk but round points). Enjoy your trip!
