0.616 imperial pint JJ
And 0.35 Litres
Question Author
right Bobbs - have jug next to me - I am going to make brown bread - measurements on the jug is either litres or pints. Is the "marking between 300 and 400 on the litre side - it seems a lot. can you break the 0.616 to like cups if you can - to me it seems 350 ml seems an awful lot of water.
Question Author
should have said - on the litre side - markings are 100 150 200 quarter litre then 300 350 400 - so where could it be - there are no 0.0000
I get 1.23 UK cups after conversion JJ

ok - thanks
Using this jug as a guide, 350 ml is the line between 300/400 on the left.

Bread making tends to be 300-350ml of liquid to 500g of flour, so if you've got 500g of flour then 350ml would be about right. Always best to add the lesser amount as you can always add more but taking it out again can be tricky.

I found another measuring jug and it was in mls, - have just finished baking and tasted it - did add a few cherries - it is nice.
