Good Friday, for Christians traditionally the day when no meat is eaten. For my household fish is always on the menu on Good Friday - not because we're religious - simply because we're products of a Christian society and that's what we have always done. What about you?
Usually do, always go to a local fish and chip restaurant but alas not today. I'd planned all the meals this week, forgetting it's Good Friday and with some chicken that needs eating today will be having fajitas. Haven't even managed to get hot cross buns for today, mind you have eaten plenty of those before lockdown began so can't complain.
No - we had fish last night and because it's my OH's birthday today we've had a whopping aged sirloin steak on the BBQ as he complains that he never gets enough meat (I'm a fish person really) - I must say it was delicious and so tender (M&S thank you!).
