Any suggestions for painting cfresco eiling wallpaper. I have given it one coat already but it looks patchy and shady.

I'm afraid there is no easy answer but to keep at it. One coat won't be enough even with the best quality emulsion, and if you have tried to economise and bought a cheapie paint, it will probably take 3 coats. Sorry.
