We pay (for new build houses) typically around 8-10 per hour in Manchester.

Sounds a lot but there are more expensive ones out there. What I'd be tempted to do if you were to arrange a contract with a particular office is do the first few cleans on an hourly basis which can then form a fixed price. People will be more inclined to pay fixed prices than hourly rates. It'll all come through experience. Best of luck though.

You should also take into account the distances from job to job.
It sounds good. One of my friend having the cleaning business and they charge for 10 -12 hour. Though it's all depend on the services you provide with best products.

We charge £10, £12 or £14 per cleaner per hour in London depending on how frequent service the customer wants and whether or not we supply the detergents.
