Microsoft Word -

When you set up a Table with columns and rows - can you re-order by putting the contents of one of the columns into alphabetical order (the rest of the row following automatically!).

{Do you have to set it up in Excel}

Yes, pandabear, Word has very good sorting facilities. Click in the table then go up to the menu bar, choose Table then Sort (AtoZ). You also sort on more than one column. However, make sure that you click on 'My table HAS a header row' if you've got headings like Forename, Surname etc. (or they'll be included in the sort!).
