I have a gas combi boiler. I can't get the hot water to work independently of the central heating. There's no obvious HW timer on the LCD display. Any suggestions?

On most combis there is not a time period for hot water as there is no hot water tank,as such if you turn the heating off when you run the hot tap the water will start to heat up.if not there is either a sticking valve or a thermo coupling defunct. So get the corgi guys in and find out if "We've just got to go and get a part" then part with the wonga (sub note a 500000 btu combi is about 550 + vat brand new)
sorry thats a 50,000 btu combi
