Can anyone tell me what the music is to the country life butter advert.
It probably dates back to the 40's or 50's and has been used no end of times in adverts and tv programs.
Please help.

They've used various folk tunes for their ads, notably,

The Lincolnshire Poacher
De Ye Ken John Peel

and possibly, although I'm not certain,

The Wild Rover
Oh, that one - where the lazy woman's getting all those poor animals to do her housework for - yes, theme to Housewive's Choice.

I'm back in the days when the little butter men danced around singing.
If you go here, you can view an advert from 1981 under the adverts section, letter C.
