I have just got a wireless connection for my PC. I can access the internet without going through my ISP. IE I can get internet access with IE and don't first have to sign on with aol. Does this mean I can cancel my contract with them?

Thanks Aly

Is this a serious question ?

You still need your ISP to connect to - otherwise you cannot connect....
IE is not a substitute for your ISP ......!!!!...........
Unless you have connected through a neighbour`s unprotected system which will cease if they ever realise that that their signal should be encrypted.
Alternatively are you using a router supplied by AOL which is already preset to log on automatically, which you have not encrypted.
