I am desperate for a decent pair of jeans! My last ones were from River Island and I loved them so much. I cant seem to find any again!? I need a short size 14 in RI and a 12 short pretty much everwhere else. Any ideas? Thanks!

hey ellen,

I am only 5ft 2in so have a nightmare buying short jeans, I find top shop do some nice ones I always get a 30 inch leg and they fit perfect and also miss selfridge do some in the petit range but the section in my local one isn't very big so not much choice but I find a pair I like occasionally so could be worth a look, I love river island too but even the short leg ones in there are a bit long on me :-(

I have some diesel jeans that fit nice they are a shorter leg but a bit pricier than the high street stores.

The best jeans I've ever bought are from Next, they fit really well and have lasted for ages, I'll always get my jeans from there in future
gap do really nice jeans
I'm on 5ft, and obviously need a short length too. I find that the petite ranges in Next, Topshop and Dorothy Perkins are usually a good length - with plenty of different styles, cuts and colours.
Either Next or Fat Face - I love fat face jeans and they do them in a 30 leg
try your local tkmaxx. you'll often find loads of diesel jeans for between 9 and 30 and all sorts of different brands, which all fit different sizes/shapes etc. I often find a good fitting brand then ebay it. OR you could always go into your local diesel store, find the size that fits you eg: 28/30 then ebay it. that's my method anyway! I'm 5"2 size 8/10 and find the best fitting jeans seem to be diesel as they come in basically any size and length. Oh and one last thing, diesel shops will take jeans up proffessionally for you if they don't have your length and I think it costs about 10. or, if you find a perfect pair of jeans but they're too long, try a local cleaners. mine's called johnsons and they take things in/up etc very cheaply. hope this kind of helped!
