I'm thinking of painting the tiles in my bathroom. They're a horrible patterned cream and darkish green colour and are slightly indented with the pattern. Does tile paint work, does it last and is it easy to use? Thanks!

Nicola Jane....i've used tile paint to do parts of my house....it does work, though if your tiles are dark then you would need a few coats. However, be careful what you buy, depending on which colour you want....for example, if you want brilliant white, then buy more expensive paint, as it can take a "yellowish tinge". Most other colours ar ok, and you should be able to pick up some quite cheaply (~5) at any DIY store. One other warning is that it is often VERY runny, so only paint on a bit at a time, or you'll end up with dribbles.......other than that, it's a very quick and cheap way for dramatically changing a look.....Good Luck!
I have used it too, I covered brown tiles with a horrid fruit pattern with white, and it has worked really well. It did take 3 or 4 coats though, and I recommend using a little roller. You can also buy grouting pens to paint the grout. Mine are in the kitchen so get a lot of wear and tear, and they have lasted very well.
