I'm lucky enough to be going to Las Vegas for the first(and probably only) time in October for my niece's wedding. My sister and I will be there for Haloween and wondered what happens in Vegas on that night. Do people dress up, are there special parties that the public can attend, will we need tickets, can we hire costumes or should we take our own, is it strictly scary stuff or is it 'anything goes'? Sorry, a lot of questions - grateful for any help. Thanks in advance.

Hi Janbuck: you will love Halloween in the States!!! It starts out for kids but they ave to be finished trick or treating by 8.30 or so then its time for the grownups. Parties galore!! You can rent a costume there, probably easier than taking one. You could be driving along and beside you in the next car is a gorrilla or a skeleton. I love it there at Holloween, much more fun than here
