Recently, when I think I've finished peeing I sometimes find my bladder has decided otherwise. It's not a great torrent but enough to leave a damp patch on my trousers.
It's very embarrassing when I'm out and about.
Would Tina for men be a help?

All joking aside, some sound advice on here.
Also, ask about having your PSA checked though I’d imagine your GP will do that automatically.
Sod paying silly money for pads, just fold a few sheets of loo paper and put them in your underwear.
I'm sure pads are more absorbent, comfortable and secure.
yeah
sounz like pis en deux

and yes Tena would help - but remember to keep dry -
and yes I agree a trip to the GP is warranted
Totally agree with being checked by the GP first , however if you do decide on protection don't necessarily go for big advertised brand names.

Check places like Age UK.

This can happen if you put away too soon, a couple of shakes should be sufficient. P.S. I know where you are coming from. Tip, do not zip up too quick and dash out of the loo.

I would not worry if it only occurs after a loo visit.
You can get a check from your GP, they like to keep their hand in; and if he can put his finger on the problem you'll be swell.
Par for the course for us poor men.
Me too, (67), so inconvenient.
Heard on the news about a month ago about new treatment, involving steam to shrink the prostrate, but no other info.
If i can help please let me know! Urology is my speciality!

Gp visit i would definately suggest.

Have you tried “double voiding” ..... x
Spath, if you have problems at your age you really should get checked. Not just a feel but a proper exam.
If you go onto the Tena website, you can get free samples of the pads and the all-in-one pants so you can see which you prefer.
Hi sandyRoe

This technique works well

To push the last remaining drops of urine from the urethra the technique is as follows:

After passing urine, wait for a few seconds to allow the bladder to empty
Place the fingertips of the left hand three finger-breadths behind the scrotum and apply gentle pressure
Keeping the pressure in the mid line, gently but positively draw the fingers forwards towards the base of the penis under the scrotum
This pushes the urine forward into the penile urethra from where it can be emptied by shaking or squeezing in the usual way
Before leaving the toilet, repeat the technique twice to ensure that the urethra is completely empty.
This technique can be practiced at home. When in public toilets it can be done discreetly, with a hand inside a trouser pocket. It only takes a few seconds and may avoid the problem of wet trousers.
