I always thought that remembrance extended to people who died in all conflicts. Certainly the money rbl makes from poppies is not helping those people who died in ww1 and very few if any who fought in ww2
Question Author
the money raised doesn't only support soldiers but families of loved ones lost. Admittedly i don't know why many veterans end up on the streets, but RBL should look into that, as well as other agencies.

many of these wars, conflicts have been largely forgotten, perhaps not more recent ones like Afghanistan or Iraq. But to keep the memory alive of those who perished since WW2 seems a good thing to do.

71 would be surprised if rbl were supporting families of people who lost loved ones in ww2. Surely there can't be many left alive that even remember them personally

i don't know the answer to that

Non of it comes cheap and the RBLI provides a village in Kent complete with residential care and housing for ex service personnel.
The range of assistance provided is phenomonal.Welfare to Work schemes etc etc.If you read each section thoroughly you will understand how much cost is involved.
