Fo3nix, you're a knowledgeable chap, you've sorted some problems with Word. Have you come across the situation where copying something before opening Word will not then paste? If you open Word first and then copy and paste, it works ok. Googling hasn't helped too much. I even had cause to reinstall Word recently and it still does this (Word 2000 on a desktop). Word 2003 on my laptop doesn't have this problem.

Hope you can help.

Thanks boobesque but the link doesn't seem to work.
hahaha

It's apparent that I'm coming here waaaay too often.

But, I know exactly what you mean. No idea why it does it though, or any possible fix, sadly. Not that knowledgeable it seems.

Thanks, fo3nix.
Mine does that too ... never did it with Office 2000 ... damn annoying having to go back and 'cut' again
This is because Office can be configured to use its own clipboard, so wont 'see' the 'normal' one.
Question Author
Potatoman, do you know how to configure Word 2000 to use the 'normal' clipboard? I've tried all options, I've tried Microsoft KB and edited the registry but to no avail.

Thanks.
