Has anyone else had a bad experience with Powerhouse? We bought a Panasonic DVD recorder which has developed a catastrophic fault well within the 12 month period but the company refuses to refund or replace it. Their only offer is to have it repaired which will probably take weeks and leave us without a replacement in the meantime. Also, we would have no guarantee that the repair would sort the problem completely. We might well be stuck then with a machine which continued to give trouble. Any advice on what we should do now? Is accepting the repair offer our only option? Or should we hold out for a replacement or refund?

By law they must give you a replacement or a full refund, they are lying through their teeth, READ UP ON THE SALES OF GOODS ACT AND QUOTE IT AT THIS BIG CORPORATION BULLY, according to the sales of ggods act if the product is faulty you are entitled to a full cash refund or a replacement, the option is legally yours which to choose.
