i made some crunchie oat cookies earlier and added coconut, my friend made some fruit ones yesterday. does anyone have any other ideas of what to add to them to 'jazz' them up a bit?

...finely grated orange or lemon zest is yummy and zingy....

Why not try some mixed spice....i use it in fruit cake and it gives that lovely warm taste
