We are in the process of doing that but we have so much beetroot we were just wondering if it can be frozen until we need it. Thanks any way.
You can freeze cooked and peeled beetroot either whole or in pieces. Bets stored in airtight bags/containers and they should be ok for 6 months or so.

As beetroot has a high water content they may be quite soft on defrosting, so have some recipes ready in that event.

Thanks Nickmo, I will pass on info to the missus.
if you like borscht then that freezes well too, although I know it takes up quite a lot of room in the freezer. Best wishes, C
