Sweet peas not flowering

My sweet pea plants, grown from seed (fresh) as in previous years, look healthy but there are still no signs of flowers. They are in a sunny spot. I've been watering them regularly and spraying to keep the aphids away. Anyone have any idea why they're not flowering, or should I just be patient a bit longer?

If you still have the seed packet, take a look and see if the variety you planted is termed "everlasting". This (and a few other varities) don't usually bloom the first year. They will bloom prolifically thereafter. Be patient!
Yes, I agree with Clanad, I think you still have plenty of time to see them flower as yet.
A friend of mine has several of these plants in differant areas of the garden, some started flowering a couple of weeks ago and others have only just started to show some flower buds.
Some I've planted seem to be responding well to 'mirical grow' desolved in a watering can.
If they are from saved seed, the resulting offspring may well be variable. Good Luck T bird+
