Anyone know what happened ( 23, feb ) when MPs were disscussing whether to allow ex pats abroad to vote at UK General Elections?.

Surely if you leave this country you should not be able to vote in General Elections. Why should someone who has emigrated to New Zealand /Australia or anywhere have a say on how the UK is governed
gollob, correct.
Because they remain UK citizens, and the government has some level of responsibility towards them.
