Do you know of a programme that I can buy/download that will show me how much 'pressure' my computer is under when I am running a number of programmes together? Maybe showing what percentage of power a particular programme is using (and also what programmes are running in the background!) I am using Windows 98 SE. Cheers

go to www.download.com there are loads of utilities you could use on there. Most of them are either free, or at least have a free trial period. When you get to the site, just type CPU Management in the search bar, and it will list all available downloads for you.

perfmon. It's part of Windows and far more powerful than any other Windows 3rd party application I've ever seen.
