A typically excellent post in the discussion above from the judge stated this:
".... I’m more concerned with it (UK) being able to determine its own future without being dictated to by unelected foreign civil servants. No Remainer has ever explained to me why they are quite prepared to put up with this which would not be tolerated by any other democratic country in the world outside the EU." - I thought this worthy of it's own post, over to you remainers.....Why are you happy to be controlled by unelected foreign civil servants?

"Togo's post is like something out of Harry Potter. Only Brexiters are "pureblood" British, it would seem. " - jim I love it, remainers are muggles! - In the TTT glossary that goes! ZM - can you not see a bit of TIC ery here? PMSL.
Yes I could. Didn’t detect much in your reply, hence me quoting it. ‘Specially as you gave it BA.
Perhaps you should read "Harry Potter" again -- the opposite of "pureblood" is "mudblood", you squib.

And no, that's not a term of endearment.

Jim, thank you I have never been happier to be corrected! Mudblood it is! Does squib have a special Harry Potter meaning too?
"you would never guess by the way you are behaving. I do not see rejoicing or happy faces, I see acrimony and loathing"

Not particularly surprising when the negotiating team seems only capable of giving ground. And the fear stories are still being spread in the hope of persuading the more easily swayed middle ground voters in the referendum, in the hope of claiming another vote should occur and Brexit stopped. What needs to occur is for all to get behind the decision and the negotiating team replaced by others who know how to negotiate. MPs, possibly, are not as greatly skilled at it as they need to be. Either that or they are trying to fail.
Don't they just come in damp, and non-damp varieties ?
Clunk.
The sound of a penny dropping.
Replaced by other....
And who might they be?
i'm not happy in that regard, its why i voted to leave
Surely one can find professional, trained, negotiators.
Or one could always ask Nigel for help. He'd counterbalance the desire to bend over backwards.
Typical AB reasoning from you OG. You really have no idea do you.
I see absolutely nothing wrong with Nigel being a negotiator. Why are people so uptight about the man who single-handedly saved us from tyranny?
Oh yes, I’m sure the EU would be more than happy to have Farage as a negotiator representing us:
Winston Churchill will soon be dead 53 years. That would be my objection :-)
I loved that clip from ZM.

Oompah, oompah, stick it up your Juncker.
C’est very funny.
Mais ce n’est pas la negotiation ...
...it reminds me of the headline in the Sun in the 90s:

"Up yours, Delors".
