Apart from Gary Oldman in The Darkest Hour, and John Lithgow in The Crown, which other actors have played Winston Churchill on the big or small screen in recent years?

Robert Hardy 5 times
Albert Finney, ably assisted by Vanessa Redgrave as Clemmie.

Timothy Spall played him in The Kings Speech.
Timothy Spall
Michael Gambon
Haven't seen the latter two, but Robert Hardy (RIP) was superb in the TV series "The Wilderness Years".

Marvellous actor. Always thought what an injustice to both actor and audience it was when the part of Siegfried in "All Creatures Great and Small" was given to the overrated Anthony Hopkins. Choice probably dictated by some Affirmative Action program to promote Welsh actors.

Love Finney, too. Anybody as old as me whom can remember his debut in "Saturday Night and Sunday Morning"?
...who can...
Simon Ward is who first came to my mind
Of course, "Young Winston". A fine film. And a Hardy connection there too. Hardy appeared in a vignette as a Latin master teaching youn Churchill his first declension Latin nouns:

"Mensa, Churchill as a table or the table. MensA vocative -as in addressing a table - O table!..."

Bemused look from the young Churchill.
