We are going to London in Nov as granddadg is marching in the Remembrance March on 12 Nov I'm thinking of trying to get tickets for the Festival of Remembrance. Does anyone know how easy it is to get from Kings Cross to the Albert Hall and back again in the evening?

Number 10 bus, door to door. Should take about 40 minutes with a bit of luck and a following wind.

Or, Piccadilly Line to South Kensington (9 stops, about 20 mins) then a 15 minute walk.

Thank you New Judge that sound relatively painless
Not sure if it is still the same now but a few years back the last train out of King's Cross was 5 mins past midnight , you had to get out of an event in time to get back in time to catch the 'Vomit Comet' ( as the last train home was known) The next train was the 6am 'milk train'.
