....was an evening of Irish folk music in our local church....it's a beautiful building and so good for music...
The group...Sweet Molly....is made up of six musicians from other local folk groups....and not so local....some played with The Dubliners and The Fureys!........and they played tonight for cake and tea to raise funds for the roof....is there a church in the UK with a roof that's not in need of repair?.....
The guitarist caught my eye during the second number....just as I caught his eye......we had been at school together from the age of five and have bumped into each other now and again...but....
It's been ten years since we last met and do you know.....
Neither of us has changed one bit!..... ;-)
