How do you get a date stamp onto photos on the iPad?

I have photos of damage to my house by the tenants and the bond holder wants date stamps on the photos. It didn't say that on the bond but he says they need them now.

Pretty sure you can't get the stamp in the picture itself, however the EXIF data will contain the date and time taken, this should be visible when right clicking the photo in Windows.

PS. Natively, that is, there are loads of apps which say they can do so but I've never tried any

I've tiffled round with it an I THINK I've done it. I have run out of paper on the printer so can't check it out just yet.

I had a look at the apps but keep forgetting my password so couldn't get one lol
