We've been told to go and get a drink and something to eat and take a brisk walk before going back in a bit.

Even at my 20 week scan they couldn't see what gender he was. Then I coughed and she said 'there you go, it's a boy'

Why so keen to find out?

It depends, I so wanted a girl I'd have given a boy back! thank heavens that what I had. 30 years ago they didn't seem to tell gender from a scan.

When I saw the words 'Gender Scan' I thought it was something different in view of all the threads on transgender athletes recently!
I have never heard it called that before.

What is it then?? I knew three out of four of mine. My third one had her legs crossed, so they couldn't even guess. It's lovely to know beforehand, I think.

DTC, Japanese do not " kow-tow" they bow. It was a Chinese custom.
