It seems the Severn crossing tolls are to be scrapped next year, and about time. Although perhaps a better idea would have been to keep a nominal charge to cover maintainance. Good news though for those commuting in and out of Wales.

Did I read somewhere that lorry fleet operators were complaining that scrapping the toll and thereby encouraging an increase in traffic, would cause delays and cost them more than the toll fees. Haha careful what you wish for.
