Left click??
I think the last word may be clink but I'm stymied on the first word.
something clink?
slot?
Can't get the answer, but it's when the penny drops, when light suddenly dawns on you. Possibly dawn clear??
Can you get a any more intersecting clues?
Is it definitely 4,5 (if 5,4 could be click here)

It's definitely 4,5 and I think it's likely that the 4 is d-w-.
down click? I don't know what that means though in the context of the clue
I think the last word is more likely to be clink or chink rather than click.
First word may be dawn (as in when the penny drops) but the second word looks wrong. Where was the K from?
clink is the sound of a penny dropping but the click idea came from when the penny drops- something clicks.
Maybe somethong is wrong here or maybe it's an Irish crossword where the words sound different to here- eg down/dawn.
FF see my post 17.01 yesterday. It may also be something to do with the old press button A or B in old telephone boxes
This has got to be the best, or worst, clue of the week!
Down chink
James, are you sure of your letters?
Chink means -- a light ringing sound.
Puzzle here - Page 8 I think.

I'll try 'Dawn Chink' when the penny drops something dawns?
