Hi,

What do people know about Bratislava?

We are looking to go over for New year, but need some advice on hotels/ price of beer (most important!!)/ the area itself.

Any advice appreciated as always

Hi

Can't tell you the curren t price of beer but I'm sure it's fantastically cheap (it was 20p a pint when I was there in 1995!) and it's a great place- very small in comparison to Prague, Budapest or Vienna but certainly lovely for a short break. May be very cold and bleak and I'm not sure if you can fly directly there.

We have managed to get direct flights from Manchester with Jet2, and we love the cold weather!!!

just watch out for hostels with lots of beautiful women in them. See the documentary titled Hostel for evidence ;-)
