crossword club site thread/blog would seem to say it's the noun that's wanted , not the verb, so spoonerisM?
Doesn' t parse. spoonerise - Spoonerism = eyes spoons
Further to Roslyn's post, Spoonerise isn't in Chambers, Collins or Oxford, so the noun is more likely.
