In Q 2, the cutting of the feet suggests the Scottish Sword Dance rather than the Sabre Dance.

Also in Q1, valerie's "Ice Dance" is just as acceptable as "Ice Dancing".

The "Fan Dance" IS a form of striptease (so I'm told!) where a fan is the only permitted "item of clothing" . Each dancer is allowed TWO quite large fans - made from ostrich feathers - usually dyed blue - so I'm told!

I like the "so I'm told" crofter. The thing is, as a strip-tease, the word tease is in the question, (or teasingly).
