Another day when the gardener is off, or nobble his mower.

Ooooo it was a very big mower, Mamya....but I'm off to County Clare tomorrow....out in the wilds looking for eagles.....so more chance of daisies and I will make a chain.....
Watching the lad today reminded me of how nice it was to do......x

Yes a wonderfully evocative memory stir, like holding buttercups under your chin for the golden glow.

Oh yes! Had forgotten that....did you say if it was a pale glow your family ate margarine but a deep glow meant they could afford butter?.... :-)
