Luckily we have a kitchen in our hotel so we went to the local supermarket and bought a bit choice, some salad and some bread.

The "bit choice" in my OP was actually "hot chicken" but my phone has become impossible since its last update.

Yesterday I had toast and jam for breakfast. Cod, spuds and veg for lunch, fish pie, mash and veg for dinner...and then went back and had chicken with a pepper salsa.

The food here is good. So is the wine :-)

We had roast chicken thighs with an edamame bean stir fry and wholegrain brown rice. Lots of roughage!
