OK ladies, I have been bra shopping today and due to my weight loss had to buy underwire bras!!
What is the best way to wash them - hand or in a pillow case on a wool wash - I am also assuming that tumble drying is a no no!!
I actually surprised at how weight loss has changed my body!

Some of my over shoulder boulder holders have cost a fortune. If I was feeling precious I might put them in a pillow case or laundry bag. TBH, they get bunged in with all the rest.

Mine (every day ones) are quite a bit older than 3 years. They are from Woolworths SA and they are still going strong

ducksie, I didn't realise buying clothes was so time consuming or expensive!!!
and exciting?? it must be great for you to walk in to store and just buy off the rail, I am genuinely so happy for you and a good fitting bra then makes all the difference to your gait - you'll walk with confidence

Lol ducksie I am once again 'pert'
wonderful :) you'll be buying a tankini next, how great would that be, heading off on your holidays, swanning about showing off this new figure, keep spoiling yourself, you've been through a lot - be sure when shopping bring a friend who won't say yes because they think it's what you want them to say. Keep confident
I hand wash my wired ones, into the machine on gentle for the others .....a bit disconcerting when a curved wire tries to stick itself up your nostril !
I soak mine separately in a bowl then stick in the washing machine on their own on a quick rinse cycle then pop in the tumble dryer for a short time. Stick them in the washer/dryer on their own as have had snags in clothes before where they've come loose and the fasteners have caught on my clothes.
I am also a larger boobied woman lol and mine cost a fair bit too but like most others I just chuck them in with everything else on a 40 degree wash. Always come out fine. And well done Islay! X
