what do indian children call their grandmas i know it sounds like a joke but its not my 9 yearold daughter wants to know as she says they cant call them after their Naan bread and i have no indian friends to ask i sincerely swear i am not taking the mickey

Mine call me Nana and their other grandmother granny, their great grandmother is known as Nana Doreen. In Spain the word for grandmother is Abuela and this is usually shortened to Abbe.

naan is pronounced 'narn' not 'nann', so it would be fine.

...And in the Indian language of the Cheyenne Native American (Tsi-Tsi-Tah) language, it would be nis gi �... pronounced nice gee ehhh....
