My wee town is the birthplace of Sir James Young Simpson, discoverer of the anaesthetic properties of chloroform among many other things.
My town is in the most beautiful place. The Forest of Dean. It is beautiful. Lots of deer and boar and other animals. The deer visit me in my garden quite regularly, they come for carrots and apples that I buy specially for them. They eat out of my hand. It is so magical. I could not have imagined what our life would be here before we moved. We have been here 14 years now and it's the best place we have lived in.
^^ and Jimmy Young lived here!!
