I largely restrict father, rolled up in crumpled duvet, to goal of 1 across. (14)
(1 across is 'Virtual Reality, making the clue start with V.)
Thanks

Verisimilitude = virtual reality goal = I Limi(t)ie (almost restrict) + sire (father) all reversed in an anagram of "duvet"

Thank you. I had a good idea that the first two letters had to be VE or VU (from duvet) but couldn't get any further.
(Maybe there is a site on the internet for 'words of fourteen letter starting with ve'.)
When I got it I had V ?????????TUDE and I used this site
