I have bought a 24'' monitor, & a wireless keyboard that I have attached to my laptop. Is there anyway I can close the lid/screen of the laptop, without it turning off, or sleeping?
I have Win 8.8, Thanks.

Useful video, save that it was the wrong medium for the poster to use. What took an age, whilst allowing 400℅ more time to read than was necessary, and then slowly showing the obvious, could have been conveyed in seconds in a few lines of text.

I tried that Dave before I asked on here, but will check to see if I did it right, thanks.

OAG, not sure what your reply was supposed to mean, it was only a 2 min video.
I don't know about Win 8 (I have 7); on there if you go to Control Panel > Power Options > System settings, you can define what the Power Buttons do, including closing the lid. "Take no action" is one option - try it.
