bless ya, i realy wouldn't worry about something like that. if they make rude remarks report them, simple as that. everyone should be made to feel special when they are carrying a baby without being insulting. so go for it and dont let mindless individuals stop you having more children. After all your partner obviously adores you the way you are. x good luck
i am big and have never had any critisism, the only time i was weighed was at my book in and my midwife said that i would only be weighed again if i felt i had put on a lot or if i had swelling to check for a drastic gain, i was big when i had my 7 year old although not as big as i am now and i didnt get any comments then, just the odd moan about my gains

thanks its just the way everyone else makes you feel that does it for me
last time i was weighed every time and it was in the middle of the hospital waiting room with a curtain round it not good!
they say 'big is beautiful' .i put on 5 stone with my daughter and 5 and a half with my son, if your happy with the way you are then dont let it get to you. maybe if your not comfortable with it ask them to weigh you somewhere more private. I think though that they only weigh you at the beginning and end of the pregnancy and they keep an eye on it to make sure you dont get diabetes as this can sometimes occur in a larger person.

thanks for your answers I just gotta work on getting my partner to go for it now lol .
please dont worry - I got pregnant at the age of 37 ( with two boys aged 13 and 18 ! ) and i was quite overweight. My weight was never mentioned as I was quite fit and healthy. You shouldn't let people deter you and they certainly shouldn't make bad remarks about it. go for it. I had a little girl who is now almost 4 and I have never regretted it
can't add more to whats already been said babybop, but go to it girl!!!!... and if you get any thing like that said to you again report them.
Get those candles out and start the loving, ignore ignorant people and enjoy being pregnant should the other half go for the idea, well done on being a good Mum too.
