A possible return to the Moon by a manned spacecraft is being looked at to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Moon landing.

Sort of underlines how we don't seem to have done much human expansion and moon stuff since. Where's our lunar camp and moon day-trips ?

Manned space exploration has been almost made 'redundant' by the huge increase in the capability of computer technology and robots.
The Mars explorer is still traveling all over the planet taking and analysing samples and sending back information and photos more than 2 years after it landed. Other spacecraft are orbiting Jupiter and the outer planets and returning data 12 years after launch.
Trump will have bankrupted the country by 2019, like he did most of his own companies.
