No Jail For Spitting In Babys Face!!!
People have gone to jail for pulling a Hijab off a woman's face, but a man with 3 previous racist hate crimes, goes free for spitting in bays face, as he has Physiological problems!!!

I pointed out a FACT that the charge was COMMON ASSAULT !
Common assault is the lowest level of assault, as I said it is a magistrates court only offence so the MAXIMUM possible sentence is 6 months.
A guilty plea would see a 6 month sentence reduced to 4 months due to the automatic 1/3 reduction. Then there is the automatic release at the 1/2 way point,2 months and release 'on tag' for the last month!
So if this man had recieved the maximum possible jail sentence for this offence he would have served 4 weeks in jail. However his treatment for mental illness would have been cancelled, with no chance of it being reinstated due to the cutbacks.
The ethnicity of the man is not relevant as is not considered in sentencing.
I can scarcely believe I am seeing AB members saying that the sentence given for the same offence depends on the offenders skin colour.
My sympathies are of no relevance either, I am just pointing out the law and the possible sentence for the offence charged.
Under the circumstances I am still certain that the correct sentence was handed out, a jail term would have just reinforced his prejudice

Not sure whom you mean by 'them' - but let's assume you mean Islamist extremists, and if that's the case, then we are not 'them' which is rather the point, and we underline not being 'them' by not behaving like 'them' which would simply make us as bad as 'them'.
