Have I Put Wrong Bins Out? Lol

I've put all week twos recycling out really late last night ready for this morning- And I noticed that of the four neighbours who I could see, well they've all put out week ones recycling and bins out. So I come in and check on council website - and I'm in the right. Sooo have all my neighbours have made a mistake?? Am waiting to see what the binmen take. Third world problems hey!!

i reckon the councils are going to keep increasing the number of bins until we have one for each colour on the snooker table

And they vary in every area! Here in London they change from borough to borough. We have a huge black bin for non recyclable, a small black bin for food waste, two blue plastic crates for card and paper and two green plastic crates for glass and plastic(even though the local tip won't let us out them in the same skip apparently it's ok at home!)

Why not shove them all out to ensure nothing is missed ?

It could be the case that one person put out the wrong bins and a few others followed suit. I have seen it happen.

have they misread Christmas/New Year timetables? Ours change a bit in midwinter and we always have to check.

Otherwise it could be groupthink: people see someone else's purple bin out and think "Oh, I must put out my purple bin".

I was right - yay lol. No my bins were out really late last night and it was dark so I didn't really see what the others had done but yes I think one put wrong ones out and the others followed lol.
