Is he compromised?

From the 'Supreme Court Guide to Judicial Conduct (2009)'

[i]They will bear in mind that political activity by a close member of a Justice’s family might raise concern in a particular case about the judge’s own impartiality and detachment from the political process.[i]

yes he should stand down

NJ will recollect accurately that Lord N got screwed on lack of impartiality over Amnesty International - wife ( again ) held shares .....

namby pamby no appeal or anything
they just heard the case again

So he has "form" then Peter?

The fundamental problem is that there's no credibility in the judicial system, which is a system that's been completely politicized. This is retaliation and selective repression.

He certainly is compromised. He is a Europhile and his wife would probably castrate him if he votes the wrong way. Why can't we have elected judges instead of them being appointed behind closed doors.
