Can these be twice cooked?

In an attempt to prep as far in advance for NYD as possible, I would ideally like to make these in advance, freeze them and then cook them again on the day.

We're doing chicken with all the trimmings and a beef Wellington. For the purpose of simplicity I'd like to get these made before hand. I twice cook the roasties, parsnips and pigs in blankets already and they turn out pretty damn good every time.

Any thoughts?

On the basis that you can buy cooked YPs in the shops I would say yes.

You can, cook as normal freeze individually then when needed pops in the oven for a few mins.

What Islay says. I make them once a month and then freeze them. Take one or two out when I do a roast. Pop in a hot oven for 3/4 minutes

They just won't taste as crisp on the crust.

They are actually Danny in fact you need to be careful that they don't become too crusty

why don't you try it next time you make them? Freeze one and see how it goes. That'll take the worry out of whether it will work or not for the special day
